It has been a valuable few days in Rotterdam at World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition 2025, where voices from across the hydrogen ecosystem came together to push the conversation forward.
There is clear momentum and shared ambition, and also a recognition that turning vision into large-scale reality will take continued collaboration, innovation and investment.
We were pleased to contribute to the dialogue on several important fronts:
Our colleague Sjoerd Boer moderated a panel on Achieving Hydrogen Targets – Infrastructure Innovations in Storage, Transport and Distribution, where discussions highlighted both the practical challenges and the opportunities in scaling hydrogen logistics.
Our CEO Bas Verkooijen joined the The International Hydrogen Trade Forum, chaired by Sophie Hermans, Minister of Climate Policy & Green Growth of The Netherlands, which brought together key governments and top industry leaders to strengthen their shared commitment to accelerating the development of international hydrogen and derivatives supply chains.
We were pleased to welcome Tom Hautekiet, Abdulaziz Al Shidhani, Emile Hoogsteden, Ivana Jemelkova, Robert Simons, Arne Weverling, members of the gemeenteraad_van_rotterdam and others to our stand. Thank you for your visit and the valuable conversations.
We supported a joint call from NLHydrogen, VOTOB, Vereniging van Nederlandse Tankopslagbedrijven, Port of Rotterdam and others, urging the Dutch government to implement action-oriented policy for hydrogen imports through Dutch ports. A clear national framework will be essential for the Netherlands to fulfill its potential as a leading gateway for hydrogen in Europe.
A big thank you to our colleagues who took part, the partners and stakeholders we met, and everyone who visited our stand or joined us for a conversation.
Let us keep the momentum going and continue turning ideas into impact.
