Last week, our Advario Global Safety Week 2026 brought colleagues and contractors together at our locations around the world.
During local Safety Days, teams made time to step away from their usual routines, exchange experiences, ask questions and take a closer look at how we keep ourselves and each other safe.
We have made good progress in safety, and we want to keep moving forward. That means staying curious, noticing what we may have stopped noticing and being willing to question practices that have become familiar.
That was the thinking behind this year’s theme, Risk Normalization.
Our locations brought the theme to life in very different ways. In China, an AI-powered simulation helped participants take a fresh look at truck-loading operations. In Belgium, newer colleagues looked at familiar surroundings with fresh eyes, identifying situations that others might no longer notice. And in Mexico, more than 100 employees, contractors and family members joined a Safety Run, extending the conversation about safety beyond the workplace.
These are just a few examples of the activities that took place. What matters now is taking that awareness back into our daily work: understanding the risks before we start a task or make a change, checking that safeguards are working and continuing to learn from experiences.
Thank you to everyone who organized activities, took part and shared their initiatives, including our contractors and external partners. Let’s keep asking questions, learning from one another and looking out for each other, so we can continue making our work safer every day.
