Annalena Baerbock, the minister of foreign affairs of Germany, visited Advario’s Texas City terminal during a work visit to the United States. The Advario team hosted Mrs. Baerbock and her delegation, kicking off in the boardroom with a warm welcome, safety moment and short introduction to Advario’s strategy and ambition.
To fully sample what Advario does to support its partners throughout the energy transition, one has to visit the terminal. So, after the words of welcome in the office, the team took the German delegation onto the Texas City terminal.
Advario Texas City is located on the Texas City Channel. The site, which has direct waterfront access, has more than 100 tanks of varying sizes, and stores a wide range of products, from ammonia, biofuels and organic chemicals to gases and clean petroleum products.
Advario terminals are well-integrated into the industrial area they operate in, and we offer our customers a range of possibilities with regards to loading and offloading. Besides having waterfront access, Advario Texas City is connected to the pipeline grid and Texas highway network. We also have direct pipeline connections to local chemical production plants and refineries.
The minister and her delegation were pleasant company to host, and showed great interest in Advario’s leading role in the expansion of the market for new energies in Texas.
