We’re pleased to announce that Giovanni Funel will be joining Advario, as the new Chief Terminal Operations Officer (CTO), starting 1 September. Giovanni brings over 30 years of experience in operations, engineering, manufacturing, and customer service across a range of industries. He has led initiatives in operational excellence and continuous improvement across 23 locations worldwide and has directed operations, business growth, and organizational integration for 12 sites across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
His extensive expertise, combined with his passion for people, leadership, and sustainability, makes him ideally suited to guide the success of our Horizon 2030 program, as part of the Advario Leadership Team. In his new role, Giovanni will work closely with our global terminals to drive excellence, growth and sustainability, ensuring seamless coordination between our terminals and headquarters. We look forward to the valuable contributions Giovanni will bring to Advario as we continue to drive progress in the energy transition.
