Advario announces today that it has entered into an agreement with Sasol Germany GmbH to carry out technical study work to potentially build and operate an ethylene facility in Brunsbüttel, North Germany.
The facility will supply ethylene to Sasol Germany’s site at ChemCoast Park, which has been operational since 1961. Sasol will be using the ethylene for its production processes.
The facility, which will include a tank with a capacity of 30,000 m³, can store conventional ethylene as well as green ethylene, derived from renewable or circular sources. The planning and construction phase is expected to take about four years.
