What began nine months ago as an ambitious idea within our Business Development team became reality last weekend. A team of eight colleagues from Advario, supported by two from MB Energy, took on the 250 km Sunset Wattenmeer Relay in Northern Germany.
The challenge was formidable: 10 runners, 20 hours, and a route stretching from Hamburg Harbor to the North Sea village of Sankt Peter Ording, passing Brunsbüttel where Advario is developing a greenfield project in the Port of Ostermoor.
Under the name “Legs Misérables,” the Advario team finished seventh out of 111 (and 3rd amongst corporate teams), with an impressive average pace of 4:52 per km.
We are proud not only of the performance but of the team spirit and resilience shown throughout. These are the qualities that define us at Advario, on the track, in our projects, and in everything we do.
Who knows, perhaps next year even more of us will be at the starting line!
